THE ELDER DRAGONS ZINE
This zine will be celebrating the 10 year long Elder Dragon Cycle we experienced. The zine will be non-profit, released for free.The zine will feature 7 page artists, 7 writers, and a cover artist. Each artist and writer will be assigned a dragon based on preference and they will create their piece based on that.This zine will be lenient and have a friendly environment.
THE CRYSTALLINE KIN ZINE
This zine will be celebrating the Crystal Dragon [Kralk, Glint, Vlast, Aurene] family. The zine will be non-profit, released for free.The zine will feature as many artists and writers as we can, and a cover artist. Each artist and writer will choose a prompt to work on.
RULES
Discord will be required for all accepted, as this is where organization and communication will be happening.Applicants should be at least 18. The zine will be sfw only, of course.The zine is strictly for the seven Elder Dragons. Please do not apply expecting to do anything with other characters or fandoms.If we find that you are someone unsavory, you will be banned and replaced with a backup. This includes but is not limited to:
-Any kind of bigot, including zionists or people who support Israel in any capacity.
-People who claim to be "proship" and support that kind of content [incest/pedophilia/etc].
-You have a history of abuse, obviously.
Anything else is up to our discretion.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
These will all be reiterated in the application forms, so not to worry about memorizing.
Guild Wars 2 related pieces are encouraged, but not required.ARTISTS: 2 fully finished pieces [linework, color, rendering] are required in your samples. Otherwise, please show what you think shows your best work, WIP or not. Traditional work is allowed in your examples and your final zine submission; as the final zine submission you will be required to scan it, however.WRITERS: 1 fully finished piece is required, at any length and writing style [including non-standard zine forms of writing like poetry]. Otherwise, as with artists, show what you think encapsulates your best work.Each category will get 3 example submissions and a chance to submit a portfolio. Portfolios will be encouraged but not required.

1. What is a zine?A zine or fanzine is a self-published work of original writings and art and can also include merchandise.2. What is this zine about?The Crystal Dragon lineage, i.e Kralkatorrik, Glint, Vlast and Aurene.3. Will the zine be physical or digital?Digital, and free.4. How many contributors are you accepting?Will depend on the contributor applications.5. Can I apply for more than one role?Absolutely! You will only be accepted for one, however.6. Can I submit an older piece for this zine?No, your piece must be made strictly for the zine.7. Will there be a deadline or will it finish when everyone is done with their pieces?There will be a hard deadline.8. Will we be allowed to feature any of the other Elder Dragons?The focus should be on the Crystal Dragon lineage, but Soo-Won may be allowed to feature. The other four dragons can be mentioned, but not heavily present.
